After a welcome, you will set off on a walk through the vineyards in the company of the winemaker who will tell you the history of the farm and the historic village of Montecarlo, they will show you the different vineyards, and explain cultivation techniques, grape varieties and characteristics of the Montecarlo DOC.
At the end of the walk in the countryside, you will return to the farm and, after a short visit to the ancient wine cellar, it will be followed by a tasting of six wines, accompanied by a selection of local meats and cheeses as well as the traditional bread of Altopascio with the extra virgin olive oil produced here. Upon request, and by paying a suppliment, you can taste the special Vin Santo 1999 accompanied by cantucci.
